Vermiculture, or worm composting, is a great alternative to the traditional composting method, because it can be done in a relatively small amount of space with quick results and little to no odor, which makes it possible to do even indoors!! Although there are some initial steps and prep work necessary before you can begin composting, once everything is set up, the worms take care of most of the mess for you.
At the formal release party of some red wigglers at my friends’ house, I too discovered the wonders of vermiculture.
