Freshfarm Market locations: Where to go for fresh, local food in DC.

FRESHFARM Markets runs a few of the best farmer’s markets in Washington DC, including the legendary Dupont Circle market.  They also run several adjacent to office locations during afternoon hours so you can pick up your groceries on the way home from work.  Their website has a section to tell you what’s in season, and this great map gives directions to all the markets.  I’ll be visiting as many as possible and writing reviews throughout the season. In terms of food access, they note:  “We welcome WIC and Seniors’ Farmers Market Coupons at all markets, and Food Stamps at our By the White House, H Street NE, and Silver Spring Markets.” I wonder how much of their sales comes from these sources?
